She was just in the mood.

"Can't a girl just want to fuck her boyfriend once in a while?" Helen replied coyly.

"I suppose so," Adam chuckled. "I'm not opposed to this, just so you know. If having that spellbook is going to mean we have more sex, I'm all for it."

"Well that is good to know, because I plan on having a lot of fun with you and the book's magic!"

Following their afternoon quickie, Adam and Helen finished the remaining housework. Adam noticed that Helen was still in her upbeat mood and couldn't help but smile when he saw her zipping around the house. Any time they passed each other in the hall or a room, Helen would kiss or caress him for a moment. The chores didn't take long and after an hour Adam was relaxing in the living room playing videogames, whilst Helen went up to the office to further study the spellbook.

Adam was more than happy to leave her to it. Their sex life had stagnated a little recently, and if this magic was what helped to give it a shot in the arm that was fine by him. As Adam absent-mindedly played another round of his battle royale shooter, he found himself wondering what else the spellbook could do. They had only just understood one page but there were countless in the book. What were the limits of its powers? Adam pondered this for a while but was soon broken out of his thoughts by Helen's head popping round the doorway.

"I've just had a call from mum," Helen said in an even tone. "She's apparently having a bit of a nightmare at the pub. I'm going to nip over to see if there's anything I can do to help."

"Oh," Adam replied, only half listening, distracted by enemy players shooting at him. "Do I need to come to?"

"Only if you want to. I think she was exaggerating things to be honest."
