She was cleaning her room

Julia was busy cleaning around her room. She wanted to re-organize everything so had made a slight mess, throwing some junk around the floor. She hadn't decided what she wanted to wear for the day yet so was dressed in a robe with slippers on. She had also pulled out her old dollhouse that she kept around for sentimental reasons, putting it on a nearby desk and wanting to inspect what was inside.

Suddenly, she felt a jolt of energy surge through her whole body. This shock caused her to trip over a pile of clothes on the floor, screaming as she fell further downwards than she reasonably should've, before being knocked ****. What she didn't realize before passing out was that as she was falling, she had shrunken down to about 3 inches, as her small state now lay amongst the rest of her belongings.

Sometime later, her mother Carrie came into the room to check in on her. Seeing the unfinished mess, she mumbled to herself about lazy Julia normally is, walking about, throwing junk out and picking up her loose clothes around, with her now giant foot just barely missing her tiny daughter.

With the room a bit cleaner, she notices something right next to the pile of clothes she had just picked up. "That's a weird looking doll, don't think I've seen that before." Carrie had picked up the still knocked out Julia, held in her palm and examining it. She thought about the feel of this "doll", especially with how smooth the skin was, and the texture of the hair, how it was nothing like she had seen before. Spotting the dollhouse right above it, she figures Julia must've rediscovered some old toys as she was cleaning.

After dropping her remaining clothes off in their respective spots, she looked at the "doll" in her hand and decided where it should go.
