She wants you to listen to something

"Ms. Hale, you needed me for something?" you say into Lucy Hale's trailer door as you knock on it.

"Is that you John?" she asks, before peeking her head out the door of her trailer a few seconds later, "hey there, come on in."

"What can I do for you Lucy?" you asked her, looking around the trailer and not noticing that she looked to be in need of anything.

What you did notice was a guitar sitting on the couch, which Lucy picked up and started strumming as she went to go sit back down.

"I heard you like country music," she tells you, grabbing you by the arm to sit you down on the couch with her, "give this a listen. I've been thinking about giving it a shot. Music is my first passion, you know."

"I do consider myself a connoisseur of it, yes, Lucy," you told her as she placed a finger to your mouth and began to sing for me.

And it was while she was singing for you (to you?), that you realized you'd like to pursue more with her.
