You genuinely liked it

When it was over, and Lucy smiled at you and asked you how you liked the song, only one thing was going through your mind.

And it wasn't business right at that moment.

"It was a very good song, Lucy," you tell her, smiling at her and giving her a one-person round of applause.

"You really mean that John?" she asks you, once again smiling at you and cuddling a little closer on the couch to you, "you're not just saying that to get me in bed with you, are you?"

"What kind of guy do you take me for Lucy?" you ask her, jokingly, as the two of you begin to flirt and talk on the couch, killing time before she would be needed back on set.

Now that you had been completely honest with her, Lucy began to really let her guard down with you, and it wasn't long before both of you found yourselves staring into each other's eyes and moving in for a kiss.
