She walks up to say hi to Cream

Amy waved with a cheerful smile at her rabbit friend.

Amy: Hi, Cream!

Cream turned around to greet her pink hedgehog friend with a friendly smile.

Cream: Hi, Amy.

All the Chao behind Cream jumped with excitement.

The Chao: Chao, Chao!

Amy: What are you doing with all these Chao?

Cream: They're my practice audience, Amy.

Amy: Practice audience?

Cream nodded.

Cream: Mmhmm. There's a talent show being hosted at the Theater tonight! I'm going to be doing a comedy act!

Amy: Comedy? I didn't know that would be something you're interested in, Cream. I mean Charmy maybe, but you, I had no idea.

Cream: Well, an easy way to win over an audience is to make them laugh.

Amy: Fair point. Everyone loves a good laugh.

Amy turns her attention towards the Chao behind Cream.

Amy: So, have you managed to make any of your jokes work for these Chao?

Cream glanced down at the ground with a sad look.

Cream: No. I've tried so many jokes, and not a single laugh. I've tried knock-knock jokes, but they didn't laugh. I tried puns, and that made them annoyed. I've tried everything, Amy. Nothing I come up with seems to be working.

Amy smiled warmly and gave Cream a hug.

Amy: Ok. First of all, knock-knock jokes don’t even count as jokes, just to let you know. And second, don’t worry, Cream. You'll come up with something. I mean, you never know. Funny things do happen when you least expect them.

Suddenly, the wind started picking up.

Cream: Ooh. It's starting to get windy!

Amy: Yeah, I noticed that too on my way here. Geez! Why do these hot summer days always lead to windy ones?

All the Chao started being pushed everywhere by the force of the strong wind.

The Chao: Chao, Chao, Chao!
