She wakes up

A loud banging at Abby’s startled her awake. Abby’s heart was racing and she could feel sweat on her body.

“Abby are you awake yet!”, a female voice said from behind her door.

“Bad enough I had to clean out that trash heap now they won’t even let me sleep.”, Abby said under her breath. She swung the door open and found her sister standing on the other side. “What do you want?”, she asked annoyed at her sister for waking her up.

“Uh…”, Abby’s sister began stumbling over her words, “Mom and dad wanted to talk to you downstairs.”

“Can’t this wait until later?”, Abby asked her body still feeling tired.

“It’s already 11. I think that’s enough beauty rest.”

Abby turned to look at her clock and to her surprise her sister was telling the truth. “Alright I’ll be down in a second.”, she groaned.

“Great though you might wanna get dressed first.”

“What are you talking about?”, confused Abby looked down at herself. To her shock she found that she was completely naked. Letting out a high pitched yelp she quickly flung her hands over her body. “Uh uh uh uh…”, Abby stammered over her words unsure of what to say. Finally, after a minute of stuttering Abby slammed her door shut.

“My sister saw everything.”, Abby said beyond embarrassed. Frantically, Abby searched her bed for the pajamas she wore the night before. “Where the hell are my Pjs?”, Abby questioned.

Her search continued under her bed searching through her piles of junk. That’s when she found it. The naked statue exactly where Abby left it before. Looking at the statue Abby couldn’t help but laugh at the irony of the situation. “Hey did you take my clothes?”, Abby joked having no memory of her dream last night.

Eventually, Abby abandoned her search as she heard her parents call for her. Quickly, she threw on a new set of clothes before racing downstairs to greet her parents.
