She tries

Unwilling to become a deputy or a whore and without a better idea, Lisa turned to walk toward Usher's store and by the time she reached there, the sun was already setting.

Looking at the beautiful orange rays breaking through the sparse clouds Lisa felt herself overwhelmed with awe, no matter how many time she saw such spectacle it never ceased to amaze her, but soon enough such feelings turned into a disgruntled sigh since such a sight today only served to remind her about the sheriff's deadline.

For better or for worse she had to get hired here, the other two options were far too unlikeable for her tastes.

After pushing the door open, the first thing that greeted her was still the same stench as before, evidently the man still didn't bother to wash, and thinking about it she too didn't have a chance to really clean herself with a bath due to the night in the cell and the day running around.

The stinky old man was dozing off at the counter, clearly not expecting anyone to come bother him at this hour, and the rattle of the door as it opened startled him awake, though what really sobered him up from the sleepiness were Lisa's curves as she approached the counter.

“Hello again, li'l lady” he greets, before hastily adding “You here for earning a few bucks?”
