Chapter 11 by Gatsha Gatsha

What does Lucina do to escape?

She tries to outsmart him

"D-Donkey Kong, please reconsider!" Lucina gasped, staring at the rapid water with dinner plate eyes. "Donkey Kong! Mr. Kong! Um, K-King of the Jungle! That's right. Kong, were you aware that I am a princess?!" she tried, gesturing to her tiara pointlessly, considering he couldn't see her head or arms from his carrying position.

Still, those words seemed to mean something to him. His brow raised on one side as he paused to listen to his prisoner.

"That's right, that's right! Robin told me your family is quite fond of princesses, correct?" Lucina continued, unsure where she was going with this, but determined to find an opening. "Look, why don't you put me down... You and I may retreat to your, um, bungalow, and there, we can- Hah!"

Deciding she'd lowered his guard enough, Lucina kicked him in the jaw with a soggy boot, causing him to reel and drop her, clutching at his face with his enormous hands.

While Donkey Kong seemed to be setting his jaw and counting his teeth, Lucina scrambled away, aiming to reach her sword. "A giant ape like that..." she thought to herself, before making the mistake of looking back. "H-he must move slow!!" she pleaded against the reality of the barreling form she saw approaching her. She grabbed her sword and leapt into the air, determined to climb higher this time and fish for an opening. "He can't jump high!!!" she begged, watching from the top of a tree and letting out a sigh of relief when she saw him start a jump that obviously had too little momentum to reach the treetop.

But this Kong...

"Hel! He can fly?!" Lucina screamed in shock, trying to make her escape out of the tree as she saw Donkey Kong spinning his fists through the air like a helicopter, a cartoonish action that was nevertheless carrying him closer and closer to his prize. She turned to flee, but this time Donkey Kong was too fast for her. He caught her bare leg in one spinning fist, spun, then released, flinging Lucina's naked body into the river.

That was the last stock, and the King of Swing was the king of the ring. As he landed on the edge, he stretched out a long arm to catch the twinkling tiara that had fallen off Lucina in the air. He raised his arms and let out a big, goofy yawn, used the trinket to scratch the just right spot between his shoulder blades, and decided it was a worthy trade for his tie after all. DK returned to his shack and hung it on a nail in the wall, then resumed watching his TV in passive boredom. A board fell from the roof behind him, but he only shrugged, deciding that when it came to repairs, he'd get to them when he got to them.

"All right, Donkey Kong, that's it!" Chrom called from his stand, looking like he wanted to hop the railing and face the ape himself.

Robin held him back, laughing. "Come now, Chrom, be a good sport. The stakes here aren't life and ****. Lucina will fight again. Now, don't you have a match against Diddy Kong at Gerudo Valley to attend to?"

"That's right," Chrom agreed, looking fired up. "We'll see what that so-called King thinks when it's his progeny facing disgrace!"

The tactician tried to calm him down, laughing some more. "Hahaha! C'mon, Cranky. Take it to the bridge." He saw Chrom head into a portal for his match, then turned to Donkey Kong once more. Robin had seen things he'd probably been thinking about for a long time, but what was most surprising was the sheer strength of Donkey Kong. He wouldn't be surprised if there were legends about him. "Huh... Maybe one day they'll even write a song. Well, I suppose that's a wrap," he mused, before following after Chrom.

Lucina outfits: 7/8

What's next for Lucina?
