She suggests the stables

"Perhaps you can sleep with your horse, sir."

Garin's eyes widen slightly, not believing what he had heard. The girl realizes she has inadvertently insulted her customer.

"What I meant to say, sir is that the stable owners have two or three rooms above the barns. They are not as nice as those at the inn, but they are dry, warm and cheap if you wish to avail yourself of them." With that, she moved to other customers.

Garin nodded to himself, finished his drink, and left for the stables.

The stable owner was more than happy to rent him a room. The rooms in question were nothing more than parts of the stable loft partitioned off from each other. The bedding was straw on the floor, with no other amenities. But, as promised, the room was cheap, warm, and dry. Without further thought, Garin drifts off to sleep.
