She suddenly gets a text from an unknown number

Before Nancy could decide on what to wear, she suddenly heard her phone vibrate. She saw that it was from an unavailable number. "Thats weird." She grabbed her phone and began to the read the text.

"Hello Detective, I understand you have a pretty young stepdaughter named Izzy."

Nancy was confused when suddenly a few pictures of Izzy and her friends were sent to her and saw that these were pictures of Izzy on her college tour. Nancy replied.

"Who is this?"

"That is not important right now. What is important is you following my instructions. Wouldn't want young Izzy to have an accident now, would we?"

Nancy gritted her teeth. Whoever this person is will pay for getting Izzy involved. But for now, she needed to stay calm and try to deal with it.

"What do you want?"

"Come to the new nightclub in one hour and come alone. If I see anyone else with you little Izzy won't be coming home."

Nancy knew she couldn't risk asking Syd for backup. She was not sure how this person got a hold of her number or how they found Izzy but that didn't matter right now.

"Fine... I'll be there."

"Great. Oh, and wear something nice for me."

Nancy drove to the nightclub called the Raving Starlight. She was wearing a red dress bodycon dress that hugged her hips and stopped at her mid-thigh. She made sure to hide her gun in her handbag just to be armed.

"So much for my night out." Nancy sighed as she walked up to the front door and up to the bouncer. "Hello, I'm Nancy McKenna. I should be on the list."

The bouncer looked at his clip board and nodded. Nancy went inside praying this would go well.
