Realising that knowing what happened to her is more important than her dignity, Sue stands up and slowly pulls her shirt over her head revealing her moderate sized breasts behind a black bra. Reed looks away to give her some privacy though Sue notes that he took his time doing so as she kicks off her high heels.

Next are her jeans, Sue unzips them and slides them down her legs showing off an identical pair of panties. Deep inside Sue was mortified but also hopeful that the machine would work with minimal clothing.

"Is this enough?" Sue asked meekly. Reed turned to face her causing Sue to immediately cover her breasts with her hands while Reed looks back as the scanner. The disappointed look on his face told Sue all that she needed to know.

"I'm sorry Sue, the scanner's acting up." Reed said as Sue's heart dropped "You have to get rid of all your clothing". She turned around so her back was facing Reed hoping that would reduce the embarrassment and hesitantly reached behind her back unclasped her bra letting it fall to the floor. She heard Reed stand up as he collected all the clothing up off the floor and then patiently waited for the final piece.

Sue grabbed her panties with both hands and rather than hesitating, quickly pulled them down to her ankles exposing her butt to Reed. She lifter her foot so that Reed could collect them and as he carried Sue's dignity over to a tray next to him Sue returned to her stool, crossed her legs and put both arms over her chest.

Reed sat back down looked up at the scanner and said, "well the good news is the machine's working now". He said it lightheartedly in an effort to lift her spirits.

It failed "and the bad news is I'm butt naked in a lab with a weird machine pointed at me" she said bitterly.

"Don't worry Sue" he said in a matter of fact tone. "The scan will only take half a minute and then you can put your clothes back on and we can forget this whole thing".
