She sacrifices herself to save her lord.

Sonja knows what Sinja is going to say before he opens his mouth, so she lunges at him with all her might and sends the bandit lord tumbling over the cliff towards the safety of the water below.

On her knees at the cliff's edge she turns and sees a dozen or so hulking well armed barbarian mercenaries storm out of the forest and move menacingly towards her. All but one, have a strange green glow in their soulless eyes, bespeaking of dark sorcery.

For a moment, Sonja toys with following her mentor and leaping to the water below, but then she remembers her clan. Standing and striking a defiant pose she draws her short sword and off-hand dagger. "What dogs would dare corner the great Sonja of the Fiery Hair?!"

The brute with the normal eyes and caveman forehead gives a puzzled look, "You're the bandit chief?"

"How dare you question me, whore-son!" Sonja plays her part and launches her dagger at the savage.

Crying in pain as the throwing knife lodges into his left shoulder the fool of a sergeant screams, "Get the bitch!"

As one the green eyed mercenaries charge the redheaded brigand. Though for her age and gender Sonja is competent with a blade she is no match for any fighting man, let alone a near dozen. Her sword cuts deeply twice, but strangely no blood is drawn, nor do the monsters even flinch. Before her third swing can hit, they overwhelm her.

Two of the thugs holding her firm by her arms **** the she-bandit to her knees before their sergeant.

"Fucking cunt." His backhand only brings a smile from the redhead, knowing her dagger hurt him far more, and that by his rage he has bought her ruse.

"Bind the bitch." He hisses. "The master is eager for his final prize."

The wind is knocked out of Sonja as she violently **** to the ground and her arms tightly secured behind her. Hauled to her feet she is marched back through the forest to meet an unknown fate.
