She ran into Link in Hyrule Field

Malon clung to Epona's back, praying for the horse to stop, but when Epona did stop Malon saw Link in his signature green tunic, his face illuminated by his glowing fairy, and she wished that Epona would keep running.

Epona, however, stood completely still as Link's wide blue eyes roamed across her naked, moonlit body, and Malon did the only thing she could think of. She fell off the horse.

She landed ungracefully, but she had long since lost the last trace of her dignity that night. "Are you okay?" Link asked, moving towards her, but she scrambled to her feet and made sure to keep Epona between them.

"Don't look at me!" She hunched over Epona, pressing her breasts against the horse's side. She didn't know how much she was showing Link beneath the horse, but she knew that if he moved around he would get her profile.

Fortunately, he didn't. "Sorry, Malon. I just needed Epona so I played that song you taught me. I had no idea you were riding her naked. Hold on, why were you–"

"Reasons!" she snapped. "Reasons that I don't have to explain to you!" Perhaps she didn't need to be so snippy with him. He hadn't intended to drag her off naked so far from home, and if he got upset with her there was so much he could do to her, but she was still having a bad night and she was blaming him.

On the other hand, there was a lot Link could do for her as well, like help her back into the ranch, or give her his tunic. Honestly, she had wanted that tunic off of him even before she needed something to wear. Of course, that was assuming he had time to spare. He had said that he had needed Epona, and Malon didn't know how urgent that was.
