She outright blackmails Mr. Li

Shiqi smoothed down her pencil skirt and adjusted her Manolo Blahnik stilettos. Her black business dress hugged her curves in all the right places. She was accustomed to getting what she wanted, both in business and pleasure.

Her eyes locked at the nervous businessman seated across from her at the desk.

"So, Mr. Li, I believe you have some information for me about that cult you've been associating with?"

Her glossy red lips curled into a smirk. She had him right where she wanted him.

Mr. Li shifted uncomfortably, his sweaty palms rubbing against his trousers.

"I...I don't know what you're referring to, Ms. Shiqi." His voice wavered.

Shiqi leaned forward, her cleavage straining against the expensive silk bra visible under her jacket.

"Let's not play games, shall we? I'm well aware of your involvement with the namless cult that infests the city. A very exclusive, shall we say, religious organization."

She arched an eyebrow. "One that I'm quite keenly interested in infiltrating myself."

Mr. Li's face paled. He knew he was trapped. Shiqi had something on him, likely the incriminating photos he had feared would surface about his "worship" activities.

"I'll tell you everything," he croaked, "but you must promise to protect me. They're a dangerous bunch. I'm afraid of what they might do..."

"Of course," she purred, extending a manicured nail to stroke his cheek. "I'll take good care of you...as long as you give me what I want."

Mr. Li took a shuddering breath and began to speak, spilling the secrets of the cult like a dam bursting.

Shiqi listened intently, her mind already scheming how she could use this information to elevate her own power and status.

The cult was just an instrument in her game.

And she always played to win.
