She must obey anyone who says her name

"For too long, you have been disobedient, Princess," Zant said. "From this moment forward, you will obey the command of anyone who calls you by name."

Midna blinked in surprise, but she straightened her back, defiant till the end. "And if I don't?"

Zant felt mirth boil out of his chest, spilling out of his as laughter. "There is no if, Princess. I speak, I name, you obey."

She scowled, her beautiful face twisting into a sneer. "And again, traitor, what happens if I–"

"Midna, be silent!"

Her lips continued to move, but no sound came out. Zant smiled. "Midna, stand on one leg."

She balanced on one foot, and looked down in fear at her traitorous limbs. "What did you do to me? What did you _DO _to me?"

"I spoke, and I named. From now on, that's all it will take. Now dance!" Midna inhaled sharply, but didn't move. Oh, right. "Midna, dance."

She moved, twirling gracefully, gyrating her round hips and supple frame. Her red-orange hair streamed behind her like a flag declaring Zant's victory. "Zant!" she protested, mid dance. "Stop this!"

"That's not how this curse works," he said. "Midna, stop." She stopped. "Understand? You obey me." He reached out into her cloak and touched on of her smooth, round breasts. She winced, but was unable to move to resist. "You obey everyone. It would be so easy to share you with my kingdom, as my subjects tell you to stop, move, strip yourself bare, pleasure them in every way … but I won't. Not yet. I will give you one last chance to serve me by choice instead of by curse. Midna, think about what I am offering you, think about what chance you have to resist me, and when we meet next, tell me of your decision."

He turned and walked away, and Midna could move again. She thought about Zant's offer, and would have even if she wasn't **** to. She hated it. To serve by choice or to serve despite choice? That wasn't a choice at all! If she resisted him, at least she would have a chance to be free.

She repeated to a place of relative seclusion, and brought forth a relic passed down through the royal family, a Fused Shadow. This was the power that led to her people's banishment to the Twilight Realm, and if she acquired the other three pieces, she would have enough power to break Zant's curse and his disgusting, ugly face.

She hoped. But really, what did she have to lose?

A single Fused Shadow was not as powerful as all four together, but it would get her far enough. It could get her to the World of Light, where the remaining Shadows where hidden, or she could stay here and organize a rebellion of her own people.
