Chapter 9 by earpsrhot earpsrhot

What befalls Waverly on the journey?

She makes a wrong turn into a bad part of town

Waverly wasn't really thinking about what her legs was doing. She was running as fast as she could, panting, a little cold in the thoroughly inadequate outfit. Home was somewhere. She couldn't wait to get there.

She kept both her hands on the skirt. Wearing something so short without panties, let alone something that was almost transparent in the right light, made her blush. Feeling the air whip between her legs and up against her core was so much more blush-inducing.

She turned a corner and squealed as she suddenly came face to face with a few dozen people lining the street. She lifted one arm from her skirt to try and help her nearly see-through top, going even redder. People were the last thing she wanted, she didn't want to be seen by anyone dressed up as this overly sexy princess.

Nervously she started down the street. She decided to walk that time. Running would just draw more attention, and that was the last thing she wanted. Besides, she noticed her costume wasn't entirely out of place, there were a lot of women on the street with more of their legs bare, and very tight or short tops. Waverly frowned. Wait, why was...

"Hey, cutie, how much?" A car drove by, the driver's window wound down to yell at her.

Waverly turned, saw the driver ogling her ass, and squealed, hurrying on a few steps.

She almost gave a half-mad laugh. Of course she'd end up here, after how the rest of her day had gone why wouldn't she end up taking a wrong turn there? Purgatory having a red light district was nothing new to her. The town might be relatively small but it was still that kind of town.

She hurried on, not entirely sure she could trust where her legs took her if she'd ended up here. Still, what else could she do?

Her cheeks burned, her skirt still going up in the wind despite her best attempts to keep it low. No, even after everything else, she could not go that far. Even being seen on this street, with what she now had to wear, was potentially humiliating enough. How was she meant to explain this if she was recognized?

Does Waverly have to do something she doesn't want to, or does something even more embarrassing await her?
