Chapter 3
by TheArchitect
Jen's first action
She looks into the window.
{If Insanity = 15}Looking outside once more did not seem to answer any questions and qust added to the anxiety. Jen started to get curious about what this enormous hall was holding for her.{else}The window did not have glass on it, but was split into nine sections by four smooth bars instead. Jen looked between them to get a hint at where she might be, but what she saw surprised her greatly.
From the other side of the window, there was a huge pavilion with white walls and tiled floor. The ceiling was about twenty meters high, and the lamps resided on it in great numbers, but low brightness to avoid blinding the visitors. This pavilion was not empty; there were many large wardrobes and smaller lockers of different color and texture. Some of them were placed in a circle, while others formed rows, like those of a supermarket.
"Is it some kind of a mall? It's unlike anything I've seen."
As Jen tried to tear the window bars out with her bare hands, she learned that they were made of steel and had no intention of going anywhere.{endif}
{If Door checked = true}"Maybe the key to the door lies in the locker? That would be very convenient."{else}"What the hell is this place? I need to get out of here and talk to the staff."{endif}
