Chapter 16 by The Dark Traveler The Dark Traveler

What dose she have to say.

She likes your idea

You explain your idea for a sign and Alisa tells you "I think it is a great idea. It will mean you don't have to explain things all the time. I will have one made up after breakfast."

"Thank you, Princess." You reply.

"I think I will have to reward you for your ingenuity," Alisa replies in a seductive tone.

"Tonight, maybe my lady, I would not like to be discovered by a knight come to claim you." You reply to her advances.

After breakfast, Alisa has the sign made using wood panels from an empty box of food and paint from her supplies. She normally used this to paint pretty pictures to pass the time. Once the sign was ready she had you go into the nearby woods and fell a small sapling. You easily snapped it from its roots and stripped its branches.

Your sign building had to be put on hold to deal with a knight. He agreed to a game of riddles and lost his horse and his chance with the princess. You then used a talon to carve one end of the sapling into a point. Using nails and a hammer that Alisa had for basic repairs of her objects she attached the sign to the pole. You drove into a soft patch of ground just outside the castle.

It read: To all knights here to face the dragon; I, The Princess, Alisa, do declare that your worthiness be proved not through violent conflict with my Dragon Protector but through challenges of skill agreed on between the challenger and The dragon Gorwen. Any wishing to win my affection through violence should turn away. Skill with a weapon may be part of the contest as long as both parties live through the conflict.

With this sign in place, you returned to the courtyard.

How does this go
