She learning in the library

Hermione was just studying in the library and from the bell tower's sound, it had already gotten pretty late. She had not even noticed how the library had become less and less crowded. Hermione was just about to wrap up the evening when she heard some steps coming in her direction.. she paused, looking up, wondering who would be here in the library so late beside herself.

Then, after a few more moments, she could see Luna walking by. The blonde girl noticed her friend sitting at the table and came back, smiling. Hermione noticed that her friend carried a large, rather old-looking book.

"Hey, Luna," she said. "What you're doing so late at the library?"

"I was ... studying," Luna responded with her usual dreamy voice. "You too."

"Yeah," Hermione said. "Was just going to go back to the common room."

"Oh," Luna said and came over. "I wonder if you could help me with this book?"

She placed the large book on the table. Hermione noticed the massive leather cover and that it had three metal locks keeping it shut. It was rather clear that Luna had gotten it from the restricted section.

"You sure we should do something with it?" she asked her friend after mustering the book a few more moments.
