She grins at him.

She grins at his. "I think we could use some water. Don't you?" Bernie gets up, swaying her hips for him as she walks naked out of the room.

Ben stares at her before shaking his head, grabbing the condoms, and following after her. When he reaches the kitchen, Bernie is already drinking from a water bottle. She tosses one to him.

"So was that a yes, no, or maybe?" The ambiguity was killing him.

Bernie laughs softly. "It was definitely not a one-off. I don't know if I'm like Mom, but I know I don't want to give us up either."

Ben smiles in relief. "I'm glad to hear that." His look changes to one of concern. "So what about your boyfriend?"

Bernie sighs, leaning against the refrigerator. It was a little cool against her bare skin, but after how hot and heavy they had been, it felt nice.

"I don't know. Maybe invite him over like you suggested. Try and get this all out in the open before I get cold feet. I'm hoping he understands, but-" she frowns, head lowering.

"You really like this guy, huh? Shit. I feel like an ass," Ben says, starting to feel a little guilty.

"Don't even," Bernie says with a stern tone. "I did what I wanted. I regret potentially hurting Gary and screwing up my relationship, but what we just did? Don't think for a second I didn't want that as much as you did."

He gives a smile and a small chuckle. "God you're somehow even hotter when you're assertive."

She rolls her eyes, but it's with fondness. "I'll think of something. In the meantime-" She gives him a hungry look. "Maybe we should head back upstairs?"

Ben gives her a similar look. "Maybe, or maybe stay down here? You know Aunt Joyce wouldn't mind."

"I have no idea how long Mom will be gone," Bernie says, unsure but clearly turned on by the idea.

"I know she said she was going to be visiting with a friend, so she'll probably be awhile," Ben explains.

"Huh, she didn't tell me that," Bernie muses.

Ben shrugs, then moves over to her. Bernie decides she has more important things to focus on.
