Chapter 33 by henrytemp
Which shirt did she choose and how far does she take the teasing?
She grabs a Hoodie
Bianca grabbed a lightweight gray hoodie, with a pink "10" on the front, slipped it on and smiled.
"Do you think Bianca is acting strange?" Axe asked.
"A little," Alex replied, "you've been spending some time together, maybe she likes you."
"Yeah right," Axe huffed, "Like the hottest girl at our college..."
"Don't sell yourself short," Alex interrupted, "you want me to help you with Sayen, I mean Bianca's hot, but not that much hotter than her."
"Yeah I guess," Axe sulked.
"Confidence."
"What?" Axe asked.
"Sayen is shy, Bianca is confident, that scares you," Alex replied.
"Maybe... probably... Look I need to clear my head... Alex?"
"Yeah bud..."
"If she's in such a flirty mood, maybe ask if I'd have a chance with Sayen, while I'm gone?"
"Will do," Alex replied placing his hand on his friends shoulder.
Alex had just finished defrosting a package of ham when Bianca reentered, he immediately noticed her change to a more conservative shirt. Silly boys, he thought as he recalled how he had thought she had been flirting with Axe, or even himself. Then his humorous mood turned to worry: had she seen him staring for that brief moment, was she so mad she threw on a hoodie, and how could I do that to Makayla. As these thoughts raced through his mind, she spoke, breaking his trance.
"Sorry, was a little chilly in here, so threw on something warmer."
So she noticed him, noticing her outfit change, and she mentioned it being chilly, she did see me notice her nipples, Alex worried.
"Where's Axe?"
"Oh, he uh had to go to the bathrooom," Alex replied.
"Oh ok," Bianca relied, disappointed.
"But uh, between you and me, I think he was a little embarrassed about, you know, spilling the water on you."
"Ohhh poor Axe, at least it wasn't kool-aid," Bianca laughed.
They continued preparing lunch for a few more moments in silence, before Alex spoke up. He wasn't entirely comfortable asking the question, but he had promised Axe.
"So uh, your friend, Sayen, she seems really nice."
"Yeah she's a sweetheart," Bianca replied, her interest piqued.
"Do you, uh, know what kind of guys she goes for... asking for a friend you know...." Alex awkwardly replied.
"Well, you can tell your friend she likes guys who are about 5-8, with blonde hair and blue eyes," Bianca stated, looking to Alex for his reaction.
Alex stopped and looked at Bianca, it being clear on his face that he was figuring out what she had just implied, when Bianca burst out laughing, Alex couldn't help but notice how her breasts bounced underneath her hoodie.
"I'm just messing with you," Bianca replied, "I'm pretty sure you are the first person I've ever known to use the 'for a friend' phrase and actually mean it."
Alex let out a sigh.
"Sayen is shy... and sweet, but she takes no bullshit from anyone. I like to think she got that from me. I don't know her perfect guy, but Axe would be an idiot not to ask. At worst, she'll let him down in the sweetest way possible."
"For the record, I'm 5-7," Alex jokingly replied, "And I'll let my friend know."
They both chuckled, then continued working a few more moments in silence.
"You know, it's too bad you're taken. We could double date with them," she said looking up to his worried eyes, "just as friends I mean, to make sure they didn't go all shy and spend the date in silence."
"Oh, yeah I mean... would be fun to keep them...OH SHIT!" Alex exclaimed as the knife he had been using to slice the ham, hit his finger.
"Come over to the sink, don't want you bleeding all over lunch."
Alex rushed over to the sink and held out his left hand as Bianca pumped a glob of soap into it. He quickly washed it out as she handed him a paper towel to stop the bleeding.
"It's not too bad, just a small cut," Alex stated as Bianca pulled out the first aid kit. "'It's just a flesh wound, as Axe would say."
Bianca laughed as she dug into the first aid kit.
"I know first aid you don't..." Alex started to say as Bianca grabbed his arm.
"Are you afraid to let someone else take care of you?" Bianca asked with a grin.
"No, I uh, guess not," Alex replied.
Bianca took his hand and started placing the bandage on it. Alex felt a tingle at her fingers touching his skin and couldn't help but notice she had pulled his arm up against her breast. As she worked on it their faces moved closer to each other until their cheeks briefly brushed together. They turned and looked into each other's eyes when they heard a noise just outside the kitchen door.
Has Axe returned or is it someone else?
