She goes to the location

Valerie felt elated. This was it. One more shot, and she would win. She wondered how Anya would react to losing and being stripped naked. Her anticipation grew as she approached the location Hawk had given her.

Lost in her thoughts, Valerie suddenly felt something snap against her foot. She looked down, and saw a loose string. A tripwire, she thought, her mind suddenly filling with fear.

Before she could react, she felt a pinprick on her neck. Feeling for the source, she pulled out a dart from her body. Her eyes widened with alarm, as she tried to take a step forward.

Unfortunately, her body didn't cooperate - suddenly feeling very heavy. She lost coordination in her limbs, her arms and legs feeling like lead. Unable to balance herself, she tipped and began to fall. She closed her eyes, bracing for impact.

It never came.

Surprised, she opened her eyes to find Hawk holding her. He gently laid her on the ground, his eyes wandering over her nubile body. He ran a finger over her arm as he brought it up over her head, causing her to shiver slightly.

"Anya ordered me to betray you.", he said solemnly. "She's my superior officer. I have **** - she can end my career, just like that."

He did the same for her other arm, bringing them both together and tying them together above her head. Valerie's eyes widened in horror as she realized what he was going to do.

"I'm sorry.", he said, looking deep into her eyes. Despite the peril she was in, she couldn't help but feel a little weak as she looked into them. They were beautiful eyes.

"Please, Hawk. You don't have to do this.", sputtered Valerie, the paralyzing substance fading just enough to let her speak.
