She goes through with it

Valerie felt her stomach churn as she realized what Hawk wanted her to do. She would have to pose as a naked waitress, exposing herself to god knows how many people in the process. She would be putting herself in an extremely **** position near a very dangerous man. On top of that, would need to obtain whatever thing he was looking for. Speaking of which, what did he want from Lang anyway?

"It's simple. I want information on Lang's safehouses. I'm told he has a physical record of where they are - likely on his person. I want you to lure him into being alone, where we can extract this information from him.", said Hawk.

Interesting, she thought. It looked like he was after the same information as her, and he planned on using her to get it. This was an unexpected turn of events. She decided to play along for now - she needed the dossier as much as him, and following his plan would get her closer to Lang. Crucially, he didn't seem to know what her mission was, and she intended to keep it that way. Perhaps she could find a way to turn the tables on him somehow.

She entered the passage, climbing the small spiral stairs. She emerged in an alcove inside a wide corridor. She looked around, trying to scout the area before she left her hiding spot.

To her right, there was a large door in the distance. Two large muscular men stood guard in front - that was probably Lang's suite.

To her left, she saw a woman walking along the corridor. She was carrying a tray with a few drinks on it, and her face was covered by some kind of masquerade mask. Hawk was right - aside from her bright blue stockings and heels, the woman was entirely nude. And she wasn't bad to look at either.

A plan popped up in her head.
