She goes on vacation with her friends

The first thing Eve does during summer break is go back home and catch up with her family. Her parents are happy to hear how great her grades are and how as student president is working to lessen the divide between races. She does however keep the white girl Wednesdays a secret from them, as well as the mandate to **** students to have interracial sex.She also reconnects with her sister who she hasn’t seen for nearly a year. One of the things Eve learns about her sister is that she might be joining her at college starting the next school year.

About two weeks into summer break Eve receives an email from Sylvie. She is organizing a little get together for them in northern Georgia.
Lorena has already agreed. Christine prefers to stay home with her boyfriend. Eve not only thinks it’s a great idea, she also wants to help plan the event. Sylvie mails back that Eve already does so much work during school time, it’s time for her to relax and let her and Lorena do everything.

The girls live very far from the state of Georgia, so they are going to have to take a plane. Sylvie and Lorena are at least lucky enough to both live in the same state, they manage to both have their parents drive them to the airport and take the same plane. Eve however needs to fly solo.
When she arrives the two lovers are already waiting for her.
“Eve, there you are.” Sylvie says, immediately giving Eve a hug.
Lorena then comes and gives Eve a hug as well.
“It’s great to see you two again.” Eve says. “So, do I finally get to know what you all have planned?”
Sylvie gives a sly smile and says, “Now that you mention it, the first thing to do is a special surprise for you.”
“For me?” Eve asks as the trio starts walking.
“Yes,” Lorena continues, “Just for you. In fact, this little surprise for you is the whole reason this entire vacation got planned.”
“Oh boy, I’m already getting scared.” Eve jokes.

When the three girls get to the exit Sylvie and Eve hold back a bit so Eve starts walking ahead of them. Amongst the people gathered there, Eve suddenly sees someone holding a large piece of paper with “Eve and friends.” written on it.
