She goes alone!

With seemingly no other choice, Mrs. Miller calls an Uber and heads for the site of the festival.

There she sees a few hundred chairs facing a big wooden stage. The stage was placed against a large wall with a beautiful mural painted on it. The very center of the stage was quite spacious as it was reserved for the presentations. On the left side was a big podium and on the right side was a sign that read “ART PROJECTS”. There Mrs. Miller saw a man which she assumed was David, the man that called her earlier as well as many other teachers and their Art projects.

“Excuse me” she said shyly while approaching the man “Are you David?” The man turns and faces her “Yes, and you must be Mrs. Miller the art teacher from the college. We were waiting for you to tell us your thoughts about the stage decorations” Mrs. Miller looks around and says, regaining her confidence, “Well, for the most part it’s all right but it could do with some improvements!” “By all means make any change you want” David replies, clearly showing that he trusts Mrs. Miller.

A few last minute improvements later a crowd is finally starting to form. “Well I believe the stage is ready!” Says Mrs. Miller wiping the sweat from her brow “Fantastic” says David with excitement, he then turns to all the teachers and says “Alright I want everyone to place their project on the stage and we are ready to begin”

Shivers run down Mrs. Miller’s spine, with all the work she had done, she had forgotten about her predicament. All the teachers from all the different universities and colleges of the region were setting up their projects, while the representing students gathered around their respective projects, getting ready for their presentations. Soon enough Jake and Dan show up

“Hey Mrs. Miller how is it going, where is Amy?” Jake asks, curiously looking around for his naked classmate. “Oh god she didn’t come with you?” Mrs. Miller says with desperation in her voice. “What do you mean Mrs. Miller?” Dan asks “It’s a long story” Mrs. Miller interjects unwilling to retell the whole story.

David comes up to Mrs. Miller looking concerned “Mrs. Miller is there something wrong? Where is your school’s project?” “It’s….It’s on its way David don’t worry” she says stumbling her words “Well it better be, the show is starting and you’re up in 10 minutes” David says in a stern voice
