She gives it a try

After a moment Kira says “I’ll give it a go. Seems kinda fun and interesting and worse comes to worst if I stop having a good time, I’ll quit. Plus there aren’t a whole lotta options on my plate at the moment anyway.”

“Hooray!” Jane yelped and gave Kira a perhaps too nude hug for her comfort, but Kira was happy too. It would be nice working with Jane. On top of that, any work would be a great distraction to get her mind off Andrew and the breakup.

After they finished drying and getting clothed. Jane got her signed up full time with the host at the front desk that sat between the hall to the private rooms and the specialty sex shop where they sold items. It turned out to be the owner, a very pretty but more modestly dressed woman in her mid to late thirties, Ms. Bach.

It was hard to watch the majority of what money they earned in cash get taken by the brothel, but it made sense and it seemed like, the ‘working girls’ as Ms. Bach put it, got quite a few non cash benefits to compensate. Including reimbursements on any payments made for work and a fun sounding office party on Thursdays that Jane claimed always got wild.

Ms. Bach added “That’s where we’ll introduce you to everyone else. Since hours vary for everyone so much. Speaking of hours, it looks like you can shadow Ruby again tomorrow. But the day after, Ruby has an escort job, so Candy will have to train you.”

I caught Jane pursing her lips at that, but she didn’t make any comment.

“How long will I shadow before working on my own?”

“Oh at least till Thursday, we’ll check in then and see how well you’re doing,” Ms. Bach replied. “We try to hurry it along so you can make more money as you only get a quarter while shadowing, but safety first. Oh and last thing if a customer ever makes you uncomfortable in any way you can tell any of the bouncers. Jimmy, Tyler, Dick, or Rita our special case.”

“Why’s Rita different?” Kira asked curiously.

“She started as just a bartender but is also one of the working girls. She has a smaller, but very loyal clientele. She only does that side of the job if someone can also cover security.”

“Oh neat!”

“Alright, well you’re all good to go now. Ruby’s working walk-in’s at 10am tomorrow so I’ll catch you then. I won’t see you the day after when you’re doing walk ins with Candy cause that’ll be at 1:30”

“You’re not usually here in the afternoon?”Kira asked, a little confused.

“1:30 in the morning dear, we close from 5am-10am. Otherwise stores always open, both of them.”

“That’ll take some getting used to.”

Jane chimed in “you’ll do fine after first week and a half or so”

Then a customer came in. So Jane and Kira fell away and headed toward the employee entrance. Kira caught him looking at her ass appreciatively though. Maybe a future customer, she thought, smiling at the idea.

As they left, Jimmy, the bouncer working at the moment, gave her a friendly, handsome smile and congratulated her on her coming aboard. He patted Jane’s ass on the way out and she gave him back a wink.

After they’d made it a little away Kira asked “Jimmy also a customer?”

“Huh? Oh no he can’t be. Bouncers aren’t allowed to use our professional services. It can lead to a conflict of interest in terms of safety and making sure people get paid. We do party together occasionally though.”

“Ohhhhhh” Kira said, doing her best imitation of a gossiping schoolgirl. “How is he?”

“If you want to know you’ll have to party with us.” Jane said with another flirty wink.

“Stooppp” Kira said in the same tone. They had never done that, though she knew Jane didn’t have a preference between men and women. Kira hadn’t ever really experimented in that direction.

They got back to Jane’s apartment and relaxed for the evening, ordered takeout, and got a relatively early night’s sleep all things considered. Which was good. Because the next day was truly wild.
