She gives him some hints

Ria sighed.

"Jaune, think about it." she began "Your companions who can see me have all...."

"touched.. the book...?" Jaune half asked, as though the answer was obvious

"Right. And the ones who haven't touched it..."

"Can't see you."

"Good. Good. Now, which ones couldn't see me?"

Jaune pondered

"Ruby and Coco."

"And which ones couldn't see what went down in your class today?"

Jaune facepalmed

"So if they've touched the book, they can see the effects of the books."

Ria gave him a smirk.

"Did you seriously just fall for that? Jaune. In the past have people been unaware of things that you did?"

"No...?"

"So why would that change?" she laughed "I just didn't write their names in as exclusions!"

Jaune sighed and began walking away...
