As Diana soared through the air closer and closer to the monster her mind raced. The air dancing across her skin, the eyes on her, the sheer insanity of it all felt pleasantly familiar to her.

“Help!”, a woman screamed.

Diana looked for the origin of the scream finding a woman directly under the monsters humongous foot holding her daughter. They tried to run but Diana could tell they weren’t fast enough.

The monster’s foot fell faster and faster taking away any chance the two had at escape. Knowing that this was the mother clutched her daughter trying to shield her from their impending doom.

This attack lasted for a full minute as buildings were reduced to ash. Finally as the fire faded the Diana stood floating in mid air with not as much as a burn on her.

“Huh I’m fire proof.”, Diana said. She shot at the monster faster than ever delivering the strongest punch she could deliver. The monster cried in pain as she ripped straight through it.

For a moment the monster stood trying to resist the inevitable before collapsing to the ground never to rise again.

Diana landed on top of the monster her heart beating like a drum. “I just beat a monster. Guess I really am a superhero.”

Below her civilians began together as applause and cheers erupted for her. As she basked in the cheers one sentence rang in her ears, “We love you Lady Eve!”
