She does

She opens the stone gate, and immediately she’s met with a disturbing sight, a woman, who she assumes is Kagha, threatening a child.

“I’m sorry, i’m sorry!”

She walks up to them, and listens to the conversation.

“Please, i’m sorry.”

“This is madness Kagha, she’s just a-“

“A what, Rath? A thief? a poison? a threat? I will imprison the devil, and cast out the rest.”

Shadowheart creeps closer, prompting Kagha to turn to her.

“Imprison her? She’s just a child.” Shadowheart says, ignoring the pain in her hand.

“She eats our food, drinks our water. Then steals our most holy idol in thanks!”

Kagha turns to Rath, “Rath, lock her up. She remains here until the rite is complete, and keep still, devil, Teela is restless.”

The snake, Teela, hisses in the child’s face.

In response Shadowheart steps forward and says “Don’t Druids cherish harmony? Jailing the child disrupts nature's balance.”

Kagha looks at Shadowheart, considering her options, before saying “Fine, let her go, Teela, to me.”

The snake jumps on the ground toward Kagha, and Arabella runs off, Shadowheart hisses as the pain in her hand flairs up.

“And who do you think that you are?” Kagha says.

“My name is Shadowheart, i’m looking for someone to rid me of a curse.” Shadowheart responds.

Kagha hums in response, “We might have something for that, but what can you offer me in return?”
