Emma giggled again. "Sorry, but I don't want to ruin the surprise. In fact, I have to make a couple of phone calls." She left, leaving me to ponder what her surprise was.

Finally, we were both ready to go. We had a different driver as we got into the car. On the way to the theater, I felt Emma's hand on mine. I squeezed it back. "We're going to have so much fun."

I nodded. Finally, the car stopped and we stepped out. I frowned as I realized the movie theater was empty. "Where's everyone? Shouldn't guests be here?"

"That's surprise number one. For the show I booked, we won't have to worry about any guests interrupting us. Do you want to get some concessions or go straight to the movie?"
