Bryan looked at Mary Beth to gauge her reaction at Amy’s arrival. She had a faint, but pleasant smile on her face, and apparently hadn’t yet seen the sexy redhead. He looked at her glass and saw that it was nearly empty. The wheels began to spin in his head, if things didn’t work out with Ellen, maybe he could hook up with the self righteous bible thumper.

“Hi, Bryan !” Amy said as she slid into the booth next to him. Her eyes shot needles at Mary Beth, but she said nothing to the oblivious girl. As Ellen squeezed into the booth next to Amy, the redhead turned towards her roommate,

“Why did you invite her to come along, she hates me, and I’m sure she’ll be nothing but a pain in the ass” Bryan heard her whisper to Ellen. The Blonde more discreetly pressed her lips to Amy’s ear, and whispered something that Bryan couldn’t hear.

“I’d like another drink” Mary Beth said to Bryan, suddenly noticing Amy beside him. Her eyes went wide, and she smiled a silly smile.

“I’m not surprised to see you here” Mary Beth said. As the waitress Stephanie approached the table, pulling her order book from a small apron above her skirt. As she took Ellen and Amy’s order, Bryan glanced at Amy’s skimpy black dress, which was very short, and very low cut. It contrasted with her pale white skin. As she crossed her legs, and ordered a martini, he noticed that her legs were covered in sheer nude nylon, and that she was wearing strappy black sandals. Too bad she was a lesbian he thought to himself, she was hot as hell.

When Ellen had finished ordering her Mai tai, Bryan said that he was still nursing his seven and seven, and wasn’t ready yet for another, and then ordered another “Sex on the beach” for Mary Beth.. Steph gave him another wink before she spun on her heel and headed back towards the bar, eliciting a friendly shove from Amy. A minute or so later, Mary Beth leaned across the table towards Amy. Here it comes, Bryan thought, and he could tell by the expression on her face Ellen expected the same thing.

“I’m glad Ellen convinced me to come with her and ….”

“Bryan” he supplied reminding the possibly drunk girl with his name.

“Yeah, Bryan. I’m glad they convinced me to come, because now you’re here, and I have to say something” Mary Beth continued as Ellen drew in a breath.
