Chapter 12 by Anonegg Anonegg

Could she do it?

She does

With one arm held against her breasts and her other hand clutching her crotch, Sabrina slowly stood upright. She looked over her shoulder at the house to confirm there was no light or movement from upstairs. Satisfied that she was alone, Sabrina crept around to the side of the car and moved towards the pavement. Her terror rose with every step until she stood on the sidewalk, naked and trembling. Skittishly she looked left. The street was quiet, but not dark. Streetlights were spread evenly down the street about thirty feet apart, while the pale moonlight bathed the remaining shadows in a faint silvery glow. It was a typical suburban area; white picket fences, front lawns, houses set back from the street. She looked to the right. It looked exactly the same as the other direction. The only sound she could hear was the chirping of crickets. She took a deep breath of the cool air and tried to calm herself. She was alone. She was unseen. Sabrina stood there for a few moments more as she tried to get her shaking under control. She wasn't cold, just nervous. "Don't worry." she assured herself. "You're in control of this. As soon as you want to can head back inside. You're in control of this. You're in control."

She dropped her hands to her side, exposing herself to the world. She panicked. Why had she done that? As quick as thought, the answer struck her; it's because she was in control. She was alone on the street and completely in control of her own destiny... so why cover up? She raised her chin a little higher. She looked up and down the street again. Still alone. "Now just to get this trembling under control." she told herself.

It was nervous energy that she needed to work off. Her first instinct was to perform a star jump. The sound of her shoes slapping the pavement sounded like thunder in her ears. She stood there, frozen; legs spread wide and arms held straight out as her ears strained to hear a call of alarm or... or some indication that somebody was coming to investigate. Still in the same pose, Sabrina turned her head to look back at her house. The curtains didn't twitch; the lights didn't suddenly come on. Nobody but Sabrina had heard the sound. She staggered awkwardly back into a standing position, then retreated to the safety of her mother's car once again. She looked down at herself; at her bare breasts, her smooth crotch, and down at her sneakers. Were they going to be an issue? Normally she didn't even notice the sound they made - and, she rationalised, it probably wasn't as loud as she feared - but with her nerves on edge she was going to be very conscious of every noise she made. Barefoot would be quieter, but it meant no protection for her feet.

Of course, she could just call it a night and get dressed now. She was, after all, in control. She would probably be okay at school tomorrow... wouldn't she?

What is her decision?
