April's eyes twinkle as she shakily takes the Sheriff badge from Texas's hands. "I...I don't know what to say. Are you sure? 100% positive I'm totally ready for this position? I mean, I know that it's temporary, but still!"

Texas shook her head. "April, you'll be fine. You've stuck by me through all the worst things that these outlaws and varmints have thrown at us. No matter what happens, you're more than capable of handling it until I feel better. Now go on and get going already."

April blinked as she looked at Texas for a few more seconds before nodding. She's right. Texas trusted her the most out of anyone else here, and she was willing to actually trust her with taking care of the town in her stead. "I won't let you down!" She said before she eventually exited the house.

Texas smiled and sighed. The town was in good hands, which was a relief. But now she had no one to really talk to. She felt a tickle in her nose and grabbed a tissue before releasing a sneeze into it, catching all the snot inside. "Ugh...I really hope I get better soon..."
