What's next?

She does not give up

John had just finished packing up his equipment and was about to leave when he heard the sliding glass door open again. Sandra stepped out, a more determined look on her face.

"John, wait," she called out, walking briskly towards him. "I know you're busy, but you really should take a moment to relax. Just for a few minutes."

John turned, trying to find the right words to politely decline again, but the look in Sandra's eyes stopped him. There was a mix of genuine concern and playful insistence.

"I really should get to my next job," he said, but his voice lacked conviction.

Sandra came closer, her expression softening. "John, you work so hard. You deserve a break, even if it's just a quick dip in the pool. I won't take no for an answer this time."

John hesitated, the warmth of the sun and the inviting sparkle of the pool making it hard to refuse. "I don't have a swimsuit with me," he said, trying to find another excuse.

Sandra smiled, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "That's not a problem. You can just swim in your boxers. It's not like anyone else is here."

John looked around, the quiet, secluded backyard offering no arguments. He felt a mix of excitement and nervousness, but Sandra's persistence and the promise of a refreshing swim were too tempting to ignore.

"Alright," he finally agreed, a **** smile forming on his face. "Just for a few minutes."

"Great!" Sandra exclaimed, her smile widening. "Come on, let's jump in."

John quickly removed his shirt and shoes, feeling a bit self-conscious but also exhilarated. Sandra watched him with an approving smile before turning and diving gracefully into the pool. The water splashed around her, and she surfaced with a laugh, her dark hair slicked back and glistening in the sunlight.

"Come on, John! The water's perfect," she called, floating on her back.

John took a deep breath, stripped down to his boxers, and approached the edge of the pool. With a quick glance at Sandra, he dove in, the cool water a welcome relief from the heat. He surfaced and shook the water from his hair, feeling a rush of adrenaline and liberation.

Sandra swam over to him, her eyes twinkling. "See? Isn't this nice?" she said, her voice playful.

John nodded, smiling. "Yeah, it is. Thanks for convincing me."

Sandra floated closer, her demeanor both relaxed and flirtatious. "Sometimes, you just need to let go and enjoy the moment," she said softly, her gaze locking onto his.

For a few minutes, they swam and splashed around, the tension of the day melting away. John felt more at ease, the cool water and Sandra's company making him forget about his responsibilities for a while.

As they rested by the edge of the pool, Sandra leaned on her elbows, her expression thoughtful. "You know, John, it's nice having you around. You always do such a great job, and you're so dedicated."

John felt a warmth in his chest at her words. "Thanks, Sandra. That means a lot."

She turned to him, her eyes soft and appreciative. "You deserve some time for yourself too, you know. Don't always be so hard on yourself."

John smiled, reaching out to touch his arm lightly. "Good. And remember, you're always welcome here. Anytime you need a break."
