She does and puts them on.

Cream suddenly stopped and looked back to her underpants. If this little predicament was one of Cheese and Chocola's pranks, then they were obviously trying to humiliate her. Cream didn't see any way out of this, but she at least had to save as much dignity as she possibly could.

Moving back to the bed, Cream picked up her underpants and proceeded to put them on. They were just like the last pair she wore; with a cute carrot motif on both front and back. Cream then made sure her towel was wrapped around her as tight as she could make it before making her way back to the window.

From their hiding places, Cheese watched from under the bed as Cream stepped out of the window and Chocola watched from the roof above as she carefully made her way over to where her nightshirt was. Both smirked with mischief, everything was going exactly to plan! Once Cream was far enough out, Cheese suddenly darted over to the window and slammed it shut, immediately alerting Cream to the cheeky Chao who was indeed playing a joke on her!

Cream: Cheese! I knew you were up to something! Let me back in, now!

Cream was so preoccupied with scolding Cheese, she failed to notice that his brother was making his move. Chocola flew down and swiftly clutched Cream's towel in his stubby hands. Before Cream could react, Chocola tugged so hard, that it sent Cream into a whirl as the towel was yanked clean off! As Cream kept spinning, Cheese giggled mischievously as she quickly flew through the washroom and out its open window straight to where the nightshirt was and picked it up. With their prizes in hand, both Chao then made their way back into the house through that same open window and then sealed it shut.

Recovering from her dizzying spin, Cream held her head as a sudden chill in the air alerted her to what had happened. Much to her embarrassment, Cheese and Chocola had trapped her outside with only her underwear on!

Covering herself up, Cream was struck with disbelief. The story she had read earlier had suddenly became real... and she was the unlucky protagonist!
