She decides to let her go free...at a price.

Having listened to the silly story that the naked purple-haired girl had invented in her vain atempt to escape from her grip, Edelgard couldn't help but almost feel pity for her, for she knew that this girl had commited a serious rule violation, and that she had to suffer the due punishment for her to learn from her mistakes, as was the academy's policy.

Yet, Edelgard also knew that she had right there, the perfect opportunity to secure the undisputed loyalty of Bernadetta, and the house of Varley by extension. All that she had to do, was to push her buttoms in the right direction, and everything would be going according to her plan.

"Alright Bernadetta...i believe you...", Said Edelgard to Bernadetta as she loosened her grip of her.

"R-Really...?", replied the naked girl with tears in her eyes, and her face fully red.

"Yes...But...", Exclamed Edelgard as she strengthen her grip of her again, "I will keep this embarrasing event of you, a secret between you and me, but unless you do as i say, i will report the academy facultry about it", Edelgard said to Bernadetta once again with her dead serious tone.

"W-what do you want ?", exclamed the poor scared girl.

"Simply, my dear Black Eagle, what i ask of you is for your total and absolute loyaty of you and house Varley to the Von Hresvelg name, and the Adestrian Empire as a whole, do you understand ?", she asked as she looked Bernadetta directly to her eyes.

"YES, YES, YES...I PROMISE!!", shouted Bernadetta, for all that she wanted right now, was to return to her bedroom.

"Good!", simply said Edelgard as she finally let free of Bernadetta's arm, "You're free to go now, but remember your promise, ok ?", She added as she made the choice let her go for now.

"T-Thanks!!", Shouted the nude girl, upon which, she ran straight away to the safety of her dormroom, where she would spend the rest of the night, and a good part of the morning, hidden within the covers of her bed, trying to wash away and forget what happened today.
