She decides to do a full frontal attack.

Knowing that, unless she did something quick, the Black Eagles would lose the battle, Edelgard decided that it was time to risk it, and do a dangerous move, for in the grim reality of war nothing ever comes as you would expect, and if Claude and Dimitri think that they are gonna outsmart her, they are going be soon shown to be very wrong.

With that in mind, Edelgard then began to charge foward at full speed towards the enemy center in a full frontal attack, knocking Hilda along the way, hoping to capture their flag before they do. In was a risky move for sure, for she would be basically leaving behind her teammates, but she hoped that as soon as the others teams knew what was going on, they would retreat to the center, and relieve the pressure on them.

And so, the battle continued, and as Edelgard carried on her new plan, dodging arrows and running to the center, it appeared that the plan had bore fruits, for soon enough, Claude and Dimitri realized that their center was unprotected, and so, told their teammates to regroup, ceasing the attack on the Black Eagles.

With that out of the way, Edelgard did not stop there however, for she had the enemy's flags just near her reach, and not wanting to waste another golden opportunity, she continued running toward's their bases, dodging and blocking all kind of attacks that Claude and Dimitri sent in a vain effort to stop her.

She was very close to total victory, but then, just as she was about to arrive at the Blue Lion's base, something hit her in the back, and hard!, for this was no ordinary attack, as it was strong enough to leave her dead in her tracks. Forcing her to stop, and check herself to see what just had happened.
