She confesses to her

“I…I do.”

Ruby didn’t expect herself to say that.

“Oh.” Pyrrha looked equally surprised. “When did this happen?”

“I’m not sure.” This was a lie. It happened after she grew older and realized the feelings already within her.

“I see…” Pyrrha looked a little hurt.

“It’s not like I’m trying to get in your way,” Ruby protested. “I know Jaune likes Weiss… and I’m willing to help him because I care, but I’m still hoping he eventually gives up.”

“That’s how I feel Ruby,” Pyrrha replied. “I’m afraid to confess because it might break up our team if he doesn’t feel the same way.”

“So what do we do?” Ruby asked.

“How about we promise not get mad at each other if Jaune ever falls for one of us?” Pyrrha suggested. “Assuming the thing with Weiss doesn’t work.”

“Heh. I don’t think it will.” They both laughed and Ruby felt better. “Are you going to follow them?”

“Weiss and Jaune?” Pyrrha’s eyes widened slightly and she shook her head. “No. I’m too recognizable and I’ll get in the way. I want Jaune to realize that while Weiss is a great person, they just don’t have anything in common.”

“That makes sense.” Ruby admitted. “I guess I’ll just have to get him to notice me the old fashion way.”

“You dress quite nicely,” Pyrrha pointed out, motioning to Ruby’s red dress. “I prefer more casual clothes that allow freedom of movement I kind of got used to it in the ring. Skirts always got in the way.” They exchanged a hug and Pyrrha went to the cafeteria, Ruby however, froze in the hallway. The dress she was wearing was too noticeable and Ruby swapped back with Pyrrha. They was plenty of time later to select an outfit for her new body.

Pyrrha might be noticeable, but Ruby could be anyone...
