She charges the cop $500 to identify herself

"Ma'am, do you know why I pulled you over?" the officer asked Rachel.

Without saying anything, Rachel rolled her window down just a couple of inches and continued to look straight at the road.

"Ma'am," the officer repeated, this time testier and more drawn out, "do you know why I pulled you over?"

Still nothing, so the officer waved his hand at Rachel just in case she was deaf.

"Just so you know, officer," she disabused him of ideas of her deafness, but still made no effort to look his way, "I am not 'driving', if that's what you're asking."

"Yes you are, ma'am," the officer was not in the mood to play Rachel's word games, "can you please identify yourself?"

"Huh!" Rachel scoffed as she pulled out her phone to start recording, "like I give my identity for free. I can tell you my name, but it'll cost you $500!"

The officer knew he wasn't getting anywhere, so he took action.
