Chapter 18 by crackjaw crackjaw

How should Hannah react to him?

She can’t resist flirting back (-10 Commitment)

She tried brushing him off at first, but he not only refused but was very insistent.

“Come on, just one drink!” And he leaned in, his face close to hers. “I’m not gonna bite you. Only nibble at best!” And he winked at her. She felt herself growing aroused, despite herself. He was confident, she had to at least admit that!

“Fine…” She relented. “Just one drink! But I’m waiting for my boyfriend.”

“Alright. Nothing’s stopping you from enjoying a drink while you wait,” He replied, unbothered by this new information. “So, what do you want? Take your pick!”

“... A martini.”

He nodded at the barman, who quickly started preparing her drink.

“So… Your boyfriend. You like him?” He asked, his tone casual and friendly, although she could feel the hunger in his gaze when he looked at her.

{if Love = True}”I love him. More than any other guy I ever met,” she replied, without hesitation. “He means the world to me.”

“Huh. Didn’t expect that,” he replied. “Sounds like you two are still enjoying the honeymoon phase. It’s nice, but take it from me. It doesn’t last.” A hint of disdain creeping into his words.{endif}{if Denial = True}”Of course I like him!” She replied, getting upset. “Why would I be with him otherwise?”

He shrugged. “A lot of people tend to settle with people who are way below their league, just because they got there first.” He glanced at her up and down, and added. “What I’m saying is… A hot girl like you doesn’t have to settle. Ya know?”

She was unsure how to respond.{endif}{if Manipulation = True}”If I said I loved him, would you stop flirting with me?” She asked, a teasing tone in her voice.

“Just making conversation,” he replied with an innocent shrug. “Although I notice that you didn’t respond to my question.”

She leaned in, grinning. “Does flirting with a girl that’s taken turn you on?”

He grinned back at her. “Still dodging my question… Which I guess is all the answer I need.”{endif}

The barman brought her drink, and she took a sip while looking back at him. She had to confess, he was not bad looking himself.

“Question is... Are you happy with this guy?” He asked bluntly. “Because if you aren’t… I can show you a good time.” He stretched back lazily in his seat while winking at her. “There’s no harm in exploring other options. And life’s too short to spend it being unhappy. Before you realize it, you’ve grown too old, a bunch of opportunities have passed you by and you’ll have nothing to show for it but regret.”

“Are you calling me old?” She asked, amusement in her voice, despite how she tried to look angry. “I think I have a long time before regretting anything!”

He shrugged back. “I think you regret all the shots you don’t take, that’s all.” He then smiled and leaned in, lowering his voice. “So why don’t you give it a shot with me? Hmm? Your boyfriend doesn’t have to know.”

“You’ve got to be kidding me!” She laughed, looking away and trying to hide her real interest. She wouldn’t ditch Ashton, of course, but the way he spoke to her… Damn!

She then saw Ashton approaching the bar from outside and her eyes widened. “Oh shit! He’s here! You have to -!”

“Look,” the man interrupted her while taking out his phone. “How about I get your number? I’ll give you a call at the end of the night and, if your date is going poorly you’ll have a way out. And if, afterwards, you want to turn it into a good night, I can take you back to my place.” He leered at her.

“Shit! I don’t…!” She glanced at Ashton, now almost at the door, then back at the man whose name she didn’t even know. She had to get rid of him fast! “Alright! But then you leave me and my boyfriend alone, got it?”

“Sure thing,” he grinned.

She whispered to him her number as she watched Ashton come in and look around, looking slightly out of breath. He noticed her and his face lit up in a smile as he walked up to her.

“Thanks, enjoy your date,” said the man, whose name she still didn’t know, with a sarcastic smile as he eyed Ashton. At least he kept his word, jumping off the bar seat and walking away as Ashton approached her. She did her best to look natural. Ashton was dressed in a business casual shirt and wearing new cologne, she noticed. He had made an effort too for this date.

“Hey! Sorry for being a bit late," Ashton apologized. "You know how my work is. I tried letting them know I needed the evening off, but when last minute stuff happens it’s so hard…” He glanced at the man who Hannah had given her number to, then back at her. “Um, you and him know each other?”

“Oh, he’s an old friend,” she lied. “I didn’t expect to meet him here.” {if Love = True}She felt a pang of guilt in her heart, as she lied to the one person she loved the most.{endif}{if Denial = True}She promised to herself she would delete his number right away. This wouldn’t affect their relationship at all, so this was only a white lie. It wouldn’t hurt anyone… Right?{endif}{if Manipulation = True}She stopped herself from saying more. When it came to lies, it was best to keep things simple. And now, she had a chance to see first-hand how jealous Ashton was.{endif}

“Ah. Alright,” he said, giving the man another look. There was a moment of uncertainty in his face, before he looked back at her and smiled. “Anyways, sorry for being late, once more!”

“Hey there, easy. It’s alright,” she smiled at him. “I haven’t been waiting long. Don’t worry.” She put her phone away, trying not to think about the fact she had just given another man her number.

He took a deep breath, then smiled back at her, visibly calming down. “Thanks!” he said, before his eyes glanced down at her. {if Branch2DressOn = True}“Oh wow, you look really, um… Nice. Your dress, I mean. Ah…” He spoke before looking away, a little embarrassed. “What I mean is, you look really pretty tonight.”

“Aww, thanks!” Hannah ran a hand over her dress. “I put in a bit extra effort.” He paused, hesitating before she asked him while slightly lowering her voice, “do I look hot?”

“Really hot!” He blurted out, seemingly without thinking. Then his face went red and he mumbled “... I really like the bare shoulders. Looks good on you.”

His reaction made her grin. “Glad you like it!” She offered her shoulder to him. “Give them a kiss?”

His face lit up, even red as it was, and he approached her and first gave her lips a slow, gentle kiss before moving his head down to her exposed shoulder and kissing it gently, the warmth of his lips on her skin sending tingles down her spine. When he lifted his head back up, she was the one now slightly out of breath. {else}{if Branch2SlutwearOn = True}His eyes glanced up and down at me and he added. “Oh. Oh wow. Your dress tonight is, um…” And he chuckled awkwardly before looking away, his face flushing slightly.

“A bit bolder than usual?” Hannah asked, trying to look calm and confident. “I was going for a new look. You like it?” And she turned in her bar seat, giving him a full view.

“Oh gosh. It’s…” And his voice trailed off as he glanced at her thighs, barely covered by the dress. He took a moment to recompose himself and look up at her. “Sorry, I keep getting distracted by you. It’s unexpected, that’s all.”

She smiled at his reaction and decided to tease him a little. “I saw some guys staring at me before… It’s not too much, is it?” She asked, feigning innocence. “Do you think it makes me look… Slutty?”

“No, no, no!” He quickly replied, his face growing pale. “You look very attractive! That’s why! Umm, I mean… It’s not a bad thing. I…” And she let him flounder for a moment, searching for the right words, before she hugged him tightly, pressing her chest against him as hard as she could.

“I’m glad you like my dress!” She said, smiling.

“You look very pretty…” He replied, his face a bit red, even as he grinned back at her.

He rubbed her side gently, his fingers touching her almost bare hips, and she felt the cold air brush against her pussy, barely covered as it was. Hannah wondered if it showed. If Ashton had realized it. And the excitement sent a thrill of pleasure down her body.**
**

{else}”You look lovely tonight!” And he leaned in and kissed her lips, a quick and gentle kiss, but still tender, his soft lips pressing against hers. When he backed away, both of them were smiling at each other. {endif}{endif}{if Branch2MakeupOn = True}”Oh, and your make-up is different!” He noticed. “You don’t usually have make-up on.”

“Actually, I do,” she corrected him. “I just keep it more low-key on our dates… But I felt like this would be a nice change of pace!”

“Oh, cool! Umm, of course you look beautiful with or without any make-up…!” He quickly clarified, before hesitating, considering if he should speak or not, before finally smiling and adding, “... But I like the make-up. You look a bit different with it. Umm, in a good way.”

“Different how?” She teased, and was rewarded with a very cute reaction as he smiled apologetically and dithered.

“Ah! Um, just different! You know… Umm… ” And she could feel him muster the courage to whisper. “Sexier?”

“Thanks,” she replied, the compliment making her stomach fill with butterflies. She hugged him and whispered in his ear, “I like feeling sexy!”

When she broke off the hug, he was blushing and grinning from ear to ear. {endif}{if Branch2PornMakeupOn = True}”Oh! And your makeup is, umm… Wow!” Ashton chuckled awkwardly. “You look so different from how you usually are! N-not that it’s bad or anything! Just caught me by surprise!”

“You like the look?” Asked Hannah innocently, fluttering her fake eyelashes for emphasis. And a grin slowly spread on her lips as she watched Ashton glance at her, looking both excited and slightly intimidated as he nodded quietly back at her.

“It’s definitely an interesting look. But wow, you look so pretty! Like a model or something!” He smiled at her. “Did you ever work as a model? Because you could totally pull that off!”

It was her turn to flush her cheeks slightly as she remembered her previous career. “I did some similar jobs, yeah…” She brushed an errant strand of hair behind her ear. “But thanks. For the compliment.”

“Honestly, I’m kinda lucky you didn’t wear that look when we first met,” he said, still smiling. “Otherwise I might not have even approached you. Not because I dislike the look or anything! Uh, quite the opposite. You just, um…” He gestured vaguely, trying to explain himself. “You look WAY out of my league right now, you know?”

She quickly wrapped her arms around him in a hug. “I’m in your league,” she protested. Then she jokingly added, “whether you like it or not.”

“Hey! I… I like it,” he replied softly, his breath warm on her neck. “I’m… I’m really lucky to have you.”

She leaned closer to his ear and whispered, “and my make-up is waterproof. So don’t be afraid of making a mess tonight!”

She winked when they parted from the hug, while Ashton said nothing and blushed red as a tomato.{endif}

“Uh… Let’s sit down and get something to drink?” He suggested.

“Sounds good!” She replied.
