She ate the flesh

"N-no, I'm fine, thanks for asking..."

Damian quickly responded to Daniela. The NPC seemed to take notice when Damian acted out of character. She didn't know the first thing about how this giant vampire woman was supposed to act in the first place. She glanced at the floating text over on the side of the room reminding her of her objective. She just had to get through dinner, right? None of this was real. Just ones and zeroes scripted by an AI. She really just wanted to return to her body in the real world and forget any of this ever happened. The only way to do that was to eat the human arm on her plate.

Despite her obvious moral objections, she did feel a stir in her stomach. She touched her delicately manicured hand over her flat belly and felt it rumble. She was very hungry, as evidenced by why she wanted to swallow as much wine as she could. Her body needed human blood and flesh to sustain itself, and a lot of it at that judging by her size. She watched the other women eat and reminded herself of the way that Selina would eat when she visited her father at the manor in the real world. She crossed one of her long legs over the other and sat up straight, taking on a more feminine posture that complimented her figure.

Daniela smiled, the NPC seemingly pleased by Damian's adjustment. Damian took this as a good sign and picked up a fork and a knife, being careful to keep her elbows off of the table as she cut the flesh. The muscle was cooked to be tender and easy to cut through, which probably meant whoever prepared this was no stranger to grilling severed human remains. The thought disgusted her but her body was aching for sustenance and the smell only enticed her appetite further. Was the game manipulating her to get her to eat? Between Daniela's encouragement and her own body suddenly feeling starved, it sure seemed that way. She cut a small piece of meat off of the arm and brought it to her lips. She hesitantly opened her mouth and chewed on it carefully like a child being **** to eat her vegetables.

Damian's face lit up. The meat was surprisingly tasty. She swallowed and went for another piece. She had to mentally set her morals aside and focus on satiating her massive body's hunger. The girls were satisfied by Damian finally eating and began chatting amongst themselves.

"I do so enjoy freshly prepared flesh," Cassandra smiled.

"You'll have to eat as much as you can if you want to grow to be tall and beautiful like Mother!" Bela beamed.

"How's yours, Mother?" Daniela looked over at Damian.

"It's... wonderful," Damian tried to use a word with more syllables to sound more sophisticated. She figured her character would talk like that since she was apparently rich with servants living in a manor being served blood wine and human remains on a literal silver platter.

"That's great to hear! I'll be sure to not execute any of our kitchen staff for at least another week!"

Daniela talked about murdering their staff so casually. The servants grew visibly uneasy at that last statement but they quickly fixed themselves.

Damian picked up on small things like that since she was trained not only by the world's greatest assassins but also by the Dark Knight himself. It was obvious now to Damian that Daniela wasn't joking. The arm on her plate was evidence of that. This was the part where Damian would spring into action and destroy her three "daughters" for being evil freaks of nature but she wasn't the hero of this story. She was Lady Alcina Dimitrescu, a tall vampiress presiding over her family's manor. She was playing the villain and these three psychotic vampire girls that incessantly referred to her as their "mother" were her accomplices: her henchwomen.

"May I top off your wine, Lady Dimitrescu?" a servant spoke up nervously.

"Please..." Damian nodded and held out her wine glass. She smiled, feeling sorry for the poor bastard. He was just an NPC like the rest but this whole game felt so realistic that she found herself having sympathy for these characters. She didn't want to refuse and have Daniela shoot her a dirty look. She figured if she just did what the game wanted her to do, played her character, and made the game happy, then it would let her complete the objective and unlock her quit menu.

However, when the servant went to go refill her glass he slipped on a fold in the handwoven rug. He tripped and spilled the wine all over Damian's white custom tailored dress. The stain was a mix of blood and wine. It likely wasn't coming out either. Damian stood up, her face reddening slightly from embarrassment. The servant groveled at her feet, horrified by the giant countess that now loomed over him.

"Please, Lady Dimitrescu! Have mercy! It was an accident!"

Damian wasn't angry with the poor guy. She didn't even like wearing a dress in the first place. It just came with the character.

"I'll take care of this insolence, Mother!" Bela leaped from her chair and stormed towards him.

Did Damian stop her?
