The two of us laid breathless in bed, sheets basically sopping by that point. A few last spasms crawled through my body and drew a sensual sigh from beneath me.

Nia: Easy hun~. You’re still pressing on my hotspot.

I shakily scooped my hands out from under her back and lifted myself just enough to slide out. That was as far as I could manage before falling back into her warm embrace. Nia’s hands massaged my back as I nuzzled my face into her neck.

It was dim in the room, the faded sunset our only light source. In the distance I could hear the sound of after work traffic clogging up the nearby intersection. A small pit of sadness formed in my stomach. The real world had begun to intrude on our bubble.

Her sassy attitude faltered as she immediately snorted at her own retort.

Nia returned my earlier gesture and rubbed her forehead against mine. I pulled her body towards me and met her lips with a soft peck.

Emery: We can decide this later. It’s getting late and we’re not on a time limit or anything. For now, we need to change the sheets and get ready for bed.

She brightened up and cupped my cheek in her hand, before giving me a smirk and a light pinch.

Nia: Nuh uh dude, you think you’re getting out of cleaning the swamp you left on the floor before bed? That shit is going to ruin the wood if we leave it and you are not losing the deposit on my watch. I’ll take care of the sheets.
