She agrees - with a condition

Happy to be leaving the noise and confusion of the Mellon building and head across the quad for the main building and a quite different kind of stress. Every meeting you've had with Diana Naylor has left you hot and bothered in more way than one. She had that effect when wearing the tight-fitting wool skirt and blazer, and the sight of the school's Headmistress in her black lingerie only added to that tension. However, each of your meetings seems to have involved a clash of wills and this is likely to be another of those battles.

You wished you had time to change before answering the summons. After three hours in the hot August sun arguing with stubborn parents and distracted students, your shirt is stained and wrinkled but you are eager to hear what Ms. Naylor has decided about the how students will be disciplined. As far as you understand your role as Dean of Students, this falls directly under your authority, but she is after all the Headmistress of the school and as such you understand her **** to relinquish any power at all. Especially to a man.

A white-haired secretary with a strong grip and sharp eyes despite her advanced years escorts you to Diana's inner office. The Headmistress is wearing a tailored dark blue suit today, as conservative as the grey one you first saw her in, but no amount of clothing can hide her figure from your eyes, not after seeing what lies beneath.

"Have a seat Mr. Hawkfeather." Ms. Naylor's tone is sharp as she gestures you to the same hard-backed seat. "After a great deal of consideration and consultation with our attorneys, I have decide to allow you to do your job as you wish." You were ready for almost anything other than that unvarnished statement, and in spite of your efforts to hide your surprise Ms. Naylor is not fooled. "There is a condition, Kyle. I want it made perfectly clear to our faculty, students and most importantly our parents that this is your decision." You met her clear eyes steadily before nodding your head in agreement. "That letter has to be on my desk, or in my email in two hours. Is that acceptable to you, Mr. Hawkfeather?"

Diana's game plan is clear enough now. She will let you take the heat from parents shocked to learn that their pampered little girls have been stripped bare-assed and smacked. With any luck, she will be freed from your interference within weeks of the first couple offenses.

The USMC makes it a point to weed out soldiers unwilling to accept challenges, **** recon even more so. The idea that you might not accept the responsibility for what is clearly your decision never even occurred to you.

"Of course Ms. Naylor. I'll send it to you within the hour." If Ms. Naylor was expecting you to back down she doesn't give any indication of surprise when you accept her offer without hesitation. Hopefully, she knew all along that you wouldn't back down from the challenge, just as you know she'll do whatever she must to protect this school that she loves.

"Well I'm glad that's settled." Diana doesn't sound glad, but on the other hand she is not as irate as she was when you left her rooms this morning.
