Does Wonder Woman get her ?

She Tries To

Davy opened his eyes. He looked at his clock, it read 06:00. "What the fuck am I doing up at six o' fuckin' clock?" he asked himself. He was about to close his eyes when he saw it. Suddenly Davy was awake. It wasn't a dream. It wasn't a fucking dream. Davy wasn't sure how to take that thought. Next to his clock, illuminated by the streetlight coming through a gap in the curtains, was Wonder Woman's tiara. "It was real," Davy whispered.

Davy had sped from the alley to put as much distance between Wonder Woman and himself as possible. He didn't know why Wonder Woman had blown him but was sure that next time they met history wouldn't repeat itself. As a result Davy wanted to make sure that there wouldn't be a next time. He kept looking to the sky, half expecting to see Wonder Woman but she never appeared. Davy began to relax and ease his grip on the steering wheel. A moan came from the back seat; Tiny stirred. "What. The fuck. Happened."

"Wonder Woman."

"Bitch." Tiny close his eyes.

There was no more talking until they reached the scrap yard. There were three cars waiting there with a change of clothes in each. All clothes worn today would be burned so there was no evidence linking them to the robbery. Davy and Tiny exited the getaway car. Suddenly Tiny grabbed Davy by the neck. "How did we get away?"

"What?" asked Davy as he struggled for air. He was **** to look up to try and open his airways.

"How did we get away from that bitch?" Tiny repeated with a level of calmness that Davy found terrifying.

Somehow Davy knew if he told the truth he was a dead man. Tiny would not believe him and Davy would share the same fate as the getaway car. "She went after Anthony," Davy lied.

"Just like that?" Tiny increased the pressure on Davy's neck.

"She wanted the diamonds more than us." Davy waited. This was scarier than dealing with Wonder Woman. She wouldn't kill him, Tiny wouldn't think twice. Davy's vision began to blur as the oxygen struggled to get to his brain. He needed Tiny to believe him.

"Get dressed," said Tiny as he opened his hand. Davy fell to the floor and gasped for air. Only when Davy had his breathing under control did he stand and walk to the car with his clothes in. The cars belonged to an associate of Anthony who owned a dealership. Tiny had already changed by the time Davy got to his car. As he was undressing Davy felt a shadow being cast over him. "Clothes," said Tiny as he held out his hand. Davy stripped down to his socks and boxers and handed his clothes over to Tiny. Tiny just nodded. "You done well today. Not bad for your first gig." With that Tiny turned and walked away.

Only when Tiny drove off did Davy realise he had been holding his breath. Davy quickly dressed. He had one more job to do before he left. He returned to the getaway car and drove it to another part of the scrap yard. Before getting out the car he pocketed Wonder Woman's tiara that he had thrown on the floor of the passenger side. It had been hidden from Tiny's view for which Davy was eternally grateful. Davy told himself once he crushed the car and got home everything would be fine. Davy smiled and looked to the sky. "Aargh!" he screamed as a large silhouette flew across the sky. Davy had thought it Wonder Woman but it was just a bird. "Fuck me I need a drink," said Davy as he walked to the crane.

Davy sat up in bed, rubbing his fingers along the tiara. It was real, so was everything else that happened yesterday. As beautiful as the tiara was Davy knew he couldn't keep it. Wonder Woman wouldn't rest until she had retrieved it. Short of throwing it out into the ocean Davy had no idea how to get rid of the headpiece. He needed a drink. Davy got out of bed, picked up his glasses and headed for the kitchen. For awhile Davy stood in the middle of the kitchen, in the dark, looking at his glasses. Glasses that were reflecting the streetlight. Glasses that until yesterday weren't his.

Davy now knew where to get rid of Wonder Woman's tiara.

It was 8:00 when Davy stood in front of Mr. King's shop. He was wearing his new glasses. Looking up he noticed that the store was indeed called 'Emperor'. Taking a deep breath, Davy entered the store. Once again the bell rang to signal his presence. "Good morning," said Mr. King without looking up from his desk. Mr. King was in the exact same position as he was yesterday when Davy entered the store. Davy wondered whether he had actually moved. "How did you find the glasses?"

"Er, the glasses. Yeah, they're good," said Davy stumbling over his words.

"Just good?"

"Yeah good."

"You don't sound too impressed. Do you not wish to purchase them? If that is the case then please leave them on the table."

Davy thought Mr. King didn't sound bitter or angry at losing a sale. Then it struck Davy as weird that Mr. King hadn't looked at him yet but then again, Davy reasoned, Mr. King gave off a weird vibe. "I've got something that might interest you."

"You probably have but put the glasses on the table first," instructed Mr. King. Davy mentally sighed but did as instructed. Only when Mr. King heard the glasses hit the table did he stand and face Davy. "What item do you think would pique my interest?" Mr. King asked.

"This," said Davy revealing Wonder Woman's tiara.

Mr. King inspected the tiara. "It most certainly does," said Mr. King. "How did you acquire such a majestic item?"

"Well it, it, well it just kinda fell into my hands." There was no story Davy could think of that sounded believable.

"Just fell into your hands?!" Mr. King seemed amused by this. "So you didn't take it from Wonder Woman's head as she sucked you off?"

Davy's mouth fell open. He felt like he was a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Davy's first instinct was to deny everything. Then it was to be outraged at such an accusation. However after seeing the amused smirk on Mr. King's face he just said, "Something like that."

"You still don't get it, do you?"

"Get what?" Davy was getting very confused, and very quickly.

"What happened when you looked at Wonder Woman yesterday?"

"Er, she sucked me off," said Davy, paraphrasing Mr. King.

"Just like that. You saw nothing odd when you looked at her?"

Davy was about to say 'no' but he stopped himself. He thought back to yesterday. "There was something up with Wonder Woman's eyes," Davy said slowly.

"Go on," encouraged Mr. King.

"When I looked into her eyes," said Davy slowly and carefully, "It was like I could see inside her, see her mind."

"Good. Now what did you notice about me when you entered my humble store?"

"You didn't look at me." Slowly the pieces were coming together. Davy looked at Mr. King who nodded. "The glasses let me see inside people's minds." Mr. King continued to nod deliberately. "But only when I can see into there eyes. Then I can make them do what I say."

Mr. King clapped. "Bravo Old Chap. Bravo." He took the tiara from Davy's hands before he could react and returned to his desk. "Bring me more items of interest and I shall tell you more about the glasses."

"They can do more?" asked Davy in amazement. "Like what? How long does my control last? Can I control someone forever? Can I control more than one person?"

"Bring me more items and I shall give you more answers." said Mr. King. Davy picked up the glasses and put them on. He turned to leave but paused for a moment. "One word of advice," said Mr. King without turning to look at Davy. "Never try to use them against me or you will regret it."

Davy just nodded and left. He had heard many threats in his time but never one delivered with as much menace as that one. Davy believed the treat to his health and wellbeing was a serious one. Only when he was outside the store did Davy think it was safe to take another breath.

Inside the store Mr. King smile to himself. "You forgot to ask one question my son." He gave a little chuckle. "You forgot to ask about the price of those glasses." The chuckles gave way to laughter.

It was 10:00 when Davy returned home. He felt exhausted. Davy just put it down to the events of the last day catching up with him. He figured a couple of hours in bed followed by a couple of hours in the gym would set him right. Just as his hand touched the bedroom door, the doorbell rang. Wearily Davy turned around and opened the door. Normally he would have checked who was there before opening the door but Davy was too tired to care. Before he could say hello a hand covered his mouth, a strong hand. Davy could not make a sound. He felt his body being driven back as he struggled to keep his footing. Davy came to a sudden stop as he impacted with living room wall. "Now you are going to answer all of my questions, got it?" Davy could only nod with fear in his eyes. "Good. Now let's start with the first question.

"Where is my tiara?" Wonder Woman asked.

Does Wonder Woman get her Tiara Back?
