She Doesn't Buy Them

“No… No.. I really can’t. Maybe later.” Katrina stepped over to the cash register, hurriedly scrambling to pay, rushing out of the store and to the food court to grab a bite leaving a smiling Jaunie behind.

Katrina opened the bag at home to wrap the toy car when her jaw dropped.

The glistening green earrings felt like they were staring into her, a strange pull tugging something inside Katrina towards them, disturbing her slightly all the while. It wasn’t her fault they forgot to charge her for the earrings, and they accidentally put them in her bag. Was it?

Maybe the strange disturbance she felt was a little bit of guilt, she had felt a strangely strong desire for them. Katrina considered.

Setting about wrapping the gift in tissue paper and depositing it in the gift bag Katrina found her attention and gaze constantly drifting back to the earrings. With the gift wrapped she scooped them and set about getting ready for the small family dinner.

A strange soothing calm descended over Katrina as the earrings were emplaced in her lobes. A sudden weight seemed to set in her stomach, something dismissed as hunger as Katrina admired and found herself pleased with the subtlety of the small glistening gems.

Through the night Katrina felt a strange elevation in her confidence, she swore she noticed people noticing her more. A proverbial whisper in her head.

Did she just admire my ass?

Katrina swore she felt herself blushing through the night, twice being embarassed as she noticed her chest flush with red when she went to the washroom. Still, she enjoyed the excited thrill in her mind.

Katrina should have noticed the foreign impressions on her mind, and would have hadn’t she been enjoying the idea of noticing all the attention however slight she seemed to catch. As the night drew to an end she half wondered if the jeans and shirt she wore had been revealing enough.
