Chapter 45

She Decides to Resist.
Susan looked to the chair, so looming and dangerous, taking up the whole of the room, or so it seemed to her then. Her throat felt dry as she imagined what it would feel like to be positioned above it, to feel the shaft sinking into her anus. Her asshole clenched, and she flushed, her fists balling even as the bastard with the chain dragged her onwards. She knew that she had to give Sarah time. Time to do what they had planned to do, time to set into motion the first stage of their escape. The key was such a small thing, but it would be proof. proof that defiance was possible. Proof that they could win.
She had to do her part. No matter how frightening it might have seemed. She looked to the chair, and then to the faces, jeering all around her, enjoying her suffering and her pain. Susan felt her resolve harden then, the fires of defiance light up in her chest.
"You think that you can just do this to me?" She snarled towards Kanor as she was dragged forwards. "You think that you can get away with this?"
"The words of a defeated princess of a conquered kingdom." Kanor said. "We shall see if you say the same when you are upon your new throne, my dear."
"Bastard." She snarled. "You think that you're always going to be in this position? You think that you're always going to be the winner? You're a fool, Kanor. The other kingdoms will see what you did. They won't trust you ever again. In time, they'll rise against you. You destroyed us, but you also doomed yourself!"
"The other kingdoms are living in fear of us." Kanorlaughed, the crowd around him tittering as well. She felt the fury in her breast redouble, and she struggled, fighting back with everything that she could. Her feet pushing against the chain, her arms straining. She couldn't hold out forever, but that didn't matter. She glared right at Kanor refusing to be cowed, refusing to be afraid.
"They fear you now." She promised. "But that fear will only protect you for so long. Eventually, you'll make a mistake, and they'll stop fearing you. When they do, how many of them can you take at once, Kanor?"
"The empire is strong." Kanor said coldly. "We can fight them all if we must."
"Lies!" The princess hissed. "If you could, you would! Even we nearly ended you! If we had had more allies... if you had made one mistake... this would never have happened!"
"To the victor go the spoils, princess." Kanor said bluntly, she could see that she was starting to annoy him now. A thrill of fear ran up her spine at the thought, but also the knowledge that this was what she wanted. She wanted him to be annoyed, to be distracted. She wanted all eyes on the court focused on her. She felt her heart beating, her terror rising, but there was more than just that. For the first time in ages, she felt lighter, free almost. She knew she was scared, she knew she would punished, but right now, that didn't matter. He could toy with her body, but he could not break her mind.
Not yet.
"Spoken like a true coward." She said. "Avoiding the question, hiding in simplicity. You won but you won painfully! Slowly! even one more ally would have turned the war! If you could not even easily defeat us, how could you stand against the other kingdoms? Together, they would crush you, Kanor. No matter how much bluster you throw out, deep down you know it!"
"Enough!" Kanor roared, striding down towards her. Susan had a moment to brace, twisting her head with the **** of the impact as his slap rang out against her flesh. For a long moment, nothing was said, and then, Susan spat a glob of blood to the floor. Her arms were chained, and her face was red where she had been hit. But somehow, she felt better than she had in a long time as she met her enslaver's gaze as an equal.
"What's the matter?" she said. "Are you scared, Kanor? You should be. They've seen what you did to us, and what you are doing to me... they'll not trust you. They'll take their time, they'll move slowly, but they will move. One by one or all together, they'll rise against you for what you've done and what you'll do in the future. You can't win anymore than I can, Kanor. We're both trapped by what you have done. The only difference? Your fate is going to be much worse than mine, I think."
"Is that so?" Kanor said, his eyes blazing as he rubbed his hand where he had struck her. For a moment, Susan thought he might just outright attack her, but he didn't. In front of his court, he had to appear in control, he had to seem dominant no matter the situation. She looked at him, her hands bound in chains, stripped naked, and yet, she sensed that she was the one with power here. Power that he would strip from her if he could, and he could. It would not be fun. Not be pleasant. But she had assured that he would focus everything on her for the rest of the day at least.
She smirked at him to drive the point in.
"Do your worst to me," She said. "I'm just a defeated princess, after all. But remember that when the time comes for you, you'll pay for everything you've done... as will your people and your land. You're not going to be remembered as a hero, Kanor. You're going to be remembered as a monster."

Broken, Beaten and Enslaved
A captured princess, a wandering paladin, a cruel lord. Who will win? Which one will rise from the ashes? The only one who can say for sure is you.
A princess is captured in war by a cruel lord. His sister, a wandering soldier, becomes embroiled in it as well. Will she emerge free and sane? Or will the princess remain as a sex for a cruel emperor? Please note, the first few chapters are currently undergoing rewrite. If something doesn't make sense, it's probably because the proceeding chapter was modified, but I haven't got to that one yet.
