She’s working at Junes

Ever since she was little, Nanako wanted to work at Junes, and as soon as she was old enough to, she took a job there.

Of course, it wasn’t as glamorous as a child would expect, but it wasn’t a bad job either. Customers were fairly nice most of the time, her coworkers were great, the only major hang up was one of her floor managers, a big burly man who seemed intent on looking for every little thing he could to write someone up. He was clearly a person who’d let his little amount of power go to his head. Thankfully, despite him always looking for trouble, he wasn’t very observant, which would come to benefit her in the day to come.

Another important detail to note was that in the years since she was a child, Junes had grown to be multiple stories, becoming a supercenter that, while unfortunately bankrupting a lot of small businesses in town, came to be a hub for shoppers both from town and out of it.
