She's just too hungry.

"Cut me down so I can eat." Mary Jane says, struggling against her bonds, and you hasten to comply.

She takes the gold plate you have the 'cutlets' on (Something that spawns in your inventory to be dropped as treasure, you are glad to finally have a use for it.) and starts wolfing them down like her 'HUNGER' is at 90%, which for all you know it may be set to until the adventurers enter the room. It wouldn't surprise you in the slightest if the Game Designers put her one degree away from passing out so that the adventurers had to 'show her kindness' by feeding her before they could take her anywhere, it's the sort of sick, false, 'morality play' they tend to favor. You are not actually being 'kind' if you have to do something 'charitable' to get what you want. Regardless of the reasons, weather her HUNGER is at 90%, 70%, or 20% she eats the whole plate in a matter of about a minute, then looks up at you and asks "Is there any more?"

Before you can even answer she doubles over in pain, and then passes out.

You go over to where you left the leg hanging from a meat hook and start to eat yourself, tearing off huge hunks with your pointed and chisel like teeth, and swallowing them whole. You feel your HUNGER dropping rapidly, until, with a lot of meat left on the haunch, you are back to 0% and put the leg on a table.

You go over to 'Mary Jane Gray' and pull up the Status Information Overlay again, which you had to close to open the crafting screen where you prepared the meat you served her, and are gratified to see the following:
