She's curious

"What kind of party are we talking about?" Lil asked. They were all having lunch and sitting in the break-room, Gary and Bernie on one side of the table, mark and Lil on the other.

"Well..not sure to be honest," Mark admitted, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment. "Roxy likes to keep stuff on the down low and surprise people, but she always likes to have different themes. Sometimes they're kinda two-parters."

"Two-parters?" Bernie asked.

"The first part, usually starting around 8 or 9 is usually her theme party stuff. Like one time she did a Cinco de Mayo party with pinatas, Mexican music, and had all kinds of tasty Mexican dishes to eat. Her grandad's originally from Mexico so she had a ball making things legit. It was a lot of fun," Mark mused.

"That does sound fun, but what about the other part?" Lil asked, picking up on Bernie's question.

"Oh, right! Sorry," Mark apologized "See after the first half, a lot of guests start heading home, as they're just there for that part. However, some of the guests are special invites for the second half, which is..well..." Mark reddened a bit, somewhat nervous to explain the particulars in front of Bernie and Lil.

"Go ahead, man," Gary encouraged. "I doubt there's anything you could tell us that would bother us."

He swallowed once before continuing. "Roxy's a wild one, and she's got a group of like-minded friends and friends-of-friends who stay over late to..to swing," he finally admitted.

Gary kind of suspected, but he was still somewhat surprised to hear Mark admit it. Bernie shifted a bit beside him. Lil's ears turned a little pink.

"I see," she said in reply.

"You do NOT have to stay for that," Mark assured emphatically. "It's all about mutual respect and trust. If anybody tried to pressure you I'd personally knock them the fuck out! And if I didn't Roxy sure as hell would."

Lil smiled at that, appreciating Mark's passion and sincerity. Gary also appreciated Mark's consideration, but was also intrigued that maybe this was his and Bernie's chance to have her live out her growing fantasy of having another man while Gary watched. He could tell by the way Bernie was breathing she was thinking along similar lines.
