She's awake, but weak.

"Hey, could you pass the remote? My limbs currently feel like I'm wearing lead weights," a weak voice groaned. Etna was awake. She had managed to roll onto her side and face the teleivision. Still toweling my hair dry, I placed the remote in front of her. She grunted a little, grabbing it. "C'mon..." she muttered, seemingly arguing with her fingers which seemed to be having trouble moving properly.

"Shouldn't you be sleeping? You look exhausted," I remarked. She tilted her head to look up at me. "Yeah, right. Go to sleep in a stranger's house. That couldn't possibly end badly," she replied, sarcasm evident. Shrugging, I sat down in front of the couch (making sure I didn't block her view). "Just a suggestion."

After finally getting the TV on, Etna began surfing through channels. "Boring...boring...boring...are all human programs this dull? Where's the sex? The ****?" she complained. Sighing, she kept changing the channels. "...you saved my life..." I shrugged. "You asked for help and you seemed to be in pretty bad shape. I don't know where you're from, but around here it's a bit harsh to leave a battered and beaten gal out on the streets." Etna was silent a moment.

"Name's Etna. I am...was...a demon lord. Guess I lost that title after getting my ass kicked." Her voice was heavy with sadness. "I'm John. Nice to meet you, Etna," I replied. The remote suddenly fell to the floor. "Shit..." Etna groaned.

Sighing, I turned the TV off and picked the petite demoness up. She struggled weakly. "Hey, what's the big idea? I knew it! My hot body is too much for you to resist!" she declared. "Why do I have to be so unbelievibly sexy?" I carried her to my room. "Etna, you're going to sleep now," I said sternly. "You can barely move, your eyes are fluttering, and your words are slurred. You need sleep."

Sure enough, as soon as I put her on the bed, Etna was out like a light. I tucked her in and left as quietly as possible. I'd check up on her later.
